DAMN is a lifestyle brand founded in late 2019 by Larry Clark and the Velasquez brothers alongside long-time friend Joey Luu. It offers skateboards and clothing that embody the underground aesthetic and the Los Angeles Chicano lifestyle. Eddie is involved in graphic design, music, and photography, while Jonathan, is involved in film and music, working closely with Clark. Rooted in the underground culture, of punk, rock, and hip-hop, A blend of raw energy, skateboarding, art, and music.
DAMN was created where skateboarding saves lives and creates dreams, years after the success of the film Wassup Rockers, Clark became a mentor to John and Eddie Velasquez, guiding them in their passion for art and skateboarding. Together DAMN is a brand that embodies the authenticity of skateboarding and the streets of South Central. Their goal is to create high-quality skateboards adorned with artwork that are accessible to young, passionate skateboarders—bringing art ever so closer to the youth.
